Fantastic Four "After coming so far with comic book successes recently, all it takes is one "Fantastic Four" to sour the milk. A disturbingly misguided attempt at a superhero comedy, "Four" is a chore to watch from start to finish. It doesn't pass a light comic fun, it doesn't pass as eye candy, and it doesn't pass as a good time at the movies. It's a trainwreck..." (full review)

"THE INCREDIBLES pretty much did these types of characters and storyline on the big screen already, and did it so well, that anything inferior feels just that. Maybe I'm being too critical, but since I've been a fan of the comic for so many years, I guess I've come to expect a better translation. Don't get me wrong, I liked a lot of the film, but certainly not all of it..." (full review)

"I guess my point it pretty clear: the movie is great if you watch MTV and are 13-years-old- and ironically enough The Incredibles, which was made specifically for kids, is more entertaining for adults than Fantastic Four will ever be..." (full review)

The Island "Beyond little problems though, the action scenes were amazing, the dialogue had none of the standard "you just shot up my car" type of things you'd expect during the action scenes as one-liners, and the cast really played the whole innocent thing well. Overall, I would say this was a home run for everyone involved..." (full review)

"You know you are watching a horrible movie when you start thinking, "Man, Battlefield Earth was so much better than this flick." The Island has "bomb" written all over it, and it's a shame that so many talented actors are caught up in the wake of this retched disaster. A mish-mash of several different movies with a half-assed sermon about human cloning is the make-up of this flop. I kept checking my watch, counting down the minutes until it was over, and two hours never felt so long..." (full review)

Slither "The story is not really anything new but it is given some truly original spins and ideas. It's basically a killer alien slug brain burrowing zombie gore movie with great acting, high production values (compared to most in the genre) and some classic one liners. I can already hear the cheers of delight on the horror festival circuit..." (full review)

Stealth "I thought it was going to be utter garbage, but it turned out to be... OK, despite the lackluster trailers and horrible tagline. All in all, an OK flick. If you are down for great CGI and can deal with plot holes, go see a matinee...." (full review)

Dark Water "Much like the original film, we are told in the opening scenes that there is indeed a ghost girl tromping about in her wet Mary Janes, leaving puddles all over the place and causing mischief. So when the strange things start to happen, we're several steps ahead of the characters - and waiting for them to catch up to us gets real old, real fast..." (full review)

Wedding Crashers "This is is one of those generic romantic comedies where the protagonist lies and tricks people but then to his surprise he meets someone who he really falls in love with, and there are montages and flirting and laughing and they become close but it's all based on a lie so then suddenly she finds out the truth and he has to admit that he's a scumbag but then he publicly humiliates himself and proves to her that he really loves her and whatever else I said earlier...."
