EW has posted the first photos from both the second and third films in the upcoming "The Hobbit" trilogy. The photo from the second film, "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug," seems to indicate that the key events of the second half of the book, namely most of the events dealing with the dragon Smaug, will take place in the second film. Co-writer Philippa Boyens says "The dragon is a huge, wonderful, amazing part of the story, but it doesn't end there."
So what does that leave for the third film, aside from the Battle of the Five Armies? Well, two faces we'll be seeing are Luke Evans as Bard the Bowman and Orlando Bloom as Legolas. Here they are in the first still from the third film "The Hobbit: There and Back Again".
