Three of the old cast are returning, so why not more?
A report has emerged over at THR suggesting that Halle Berry (Storm) and James Marsden (Cyclops) along with other cast members are being sought to return to the "X-Men" franchise in Bryan Singer's 'First Class' sequel "X-Men: Days of Future Past."
Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and Hugh Jackman are already confirmed to be coming back for the project at 20th Century Fox. With Singer once again at the helm of the franchise, there is reportedly a "great deal of goodwill on the part of the actors to return" for the film. As their scenes will be set in a dystopic, alternate future, the time commitments are also not substantial.
'First Class' cast members James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, January Jones, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult are all returning for the film which Simon Kinberg is writing and Matthew Vaughn is producing.
