Casting: Izzard, Firth, McGill, Heigl

Hannibal
Eddie Izzard is set to guest star on the upcoming NBC series "Hannibal," joining a cast that includes Mads Mikkelsen, Hugh Dancy and Laurence Fishburne.

Izzard will play a cellmate of Hannibal Lecter's in the project which is scheduled to go to air in 2013. [Source: EW]

Before I Go to Sleep
Nicole Kidman reportedly wants her "The Railway Man" co-star Colin Firth to play her husband again in Rowan Joffe's upcoming psychological thriller "Before I Go to Sleep". Shooting aims to kick off early next year in London.

Kidman plays a woman who, following an accident, finds her memories disappearing every time she falls asleep. She soon comes to realise that her husband isn't her husband. Mark Strong was recently cast as her doctor. [Source: THR]

Ride Along
Bruce McGill has joined the cast of Tim Story's action comedy "Ride Along" at Universal. McGill will play a hard-nosed lieutenant in the film which is currently shooting in Atlanta.

Kevin Hart plays a risk-averse second-grade teacher who plans on marrying the girl of his dreams but first must accompany her overprotective cop brother (Ice Cube) on a ride-along from hell. [Source: THR]

The Nut Job
Katherine Heigl, Will Arnett, Brendan Fraser, Stephen Lang, Sarah Gadon, and Jeff Dunham will all lend their voices to the animated feature "The Nut Job" at ToonBox Entertainment and Redrover Co, Ltd. A 2013 release is planned.

Peter Lepeniotis is helming the feature, based on his 2005 short film "Surly Squirrel," which follows a mischievous squirrel and his rat friend who plan a nut store heist. [Source: Deadline]
