Chris Hemsworth is reportedly lining up a role in Stephen Gaghan's crime drama "Candy Shop".
The story follows an elite, highly trained deep-cover operative who loses everything. He ultimately disappears into Brooklyn where he must start again.
He becomes a beat cop, only to discover the global organization he was dedicated to fighting is also operating in his new backyard.
Brad Pitt, Christoph Waltz, Denzel Washington, Jamie Foxx, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Bradley Cooper are all said to be circling the project which will likely be a large ensemble akin to Gaghan's "Syriana".
Hemsworth is also being looked for the Steve McQueen biopic "Triumph AKA 40 Summers Ago".
Brandon and Philip Murphy are penning the script which deals with the friendship between McQueen and his stunt double Bud Elkins. Elkins pulled off the infamous fence jump stunt in "The Great Escape" and some of the key car chases in "Bullitt".
Jerry Weintraub is producing the project to which Chris' brother Liam Hemsworth is also attached. This is not to be confused with the other McQueen biopic in the works starring Jeremy Renner.
