Maria Bello ("Prime Suspect," "A History of Violence") has been cast in an untitled horror film which James Wan ("Saw," "Insidious") will produce and Will Canon ("Brotherhood") is set to direct for Dimension Films.
Released under the 'James Wan Presents' banner, the film centers on the aftermath of a horrific massacre of five college students in a decrepit, abandoned home.
Bello will play a police psychologist questioning the survivors who were amateur ghost-hunters that claim the house itself is responsible for the deaths.
Max La Bella penned the script from an original idea of Wan's, while Lee Clay will also produce. Shooting begins in January in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
