'The Crutch' is back with talk, rumour and speculation from the development arms of several major studios:

  • Scott Frank is finishing up the script of "Six Shooters" over the next few weeks.

  • Phil Alden Robinson has apparently been suggested as director for M:I-3

  • A comedic lead opposite Will Ferrell is heavily being sought for "Twist of Fate" - someone along Cusack, Stiller lines.

  • Shooting on the Samuel L. Jackson lead "The Man" starts in April.

  • "Inferno" produced by Russell Hollander & Mike Karz, is "The Count of Monte Cristo" set in present day Miami.

  • A certain veteran actor who appeared in a recent comedy is tipped for "Mr. Woodcock" which has a VERY funny script apparently.

  • Allen Coulter is tipped to direct "Alone", an atmospheric horror about teen agorophobic girl in haunted house.

  • Larry Charles is tipped to write and direct the new "Cheech & Chong" movie.
