Almost three months after it was seemingly dead, Fox TV Studios is now closing a deal to bring back the AMC drama series "The Killing" through a deal with Netflix.
Fox have been relentlessly trying to keep the series alive and talks ended up happening with Netflix and later AMC coming back into the situation.
Showrunner Veena Sud delivered a third season pitch good enough that AMC and Netflix will split the costs for the season's budget. With both cast members Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman already locked, shooting is now set to begin in February.
Meanwhile the third and final season of the original Danish "The Killing", of which the AMC show is a remake, is scheduled to premiere next week in the UK.
