Though its $30 million opening weekend haul was down on previous entries, Paramount thinks there's still lots of life left in the "Paranormal Activity" franchise and is moving forward with two more films says Deadline.
First up a fifth "Paranormal Activity" will be ready in time for next Halloween and will continue the story from the recent sequels. Hopefully we will finally find out what's with that creepy coven of seemingly mute women.
Also in the works though is a currently untitled Latino-targeted spin-off feature which is aiming for a Spring 2013 release. "Disturbia" scribe Christopher Landon is already attached to direct the feature which will star mostly Latino actors and be filmed partly in Spanish.
