Casting: Weaver, Duchovny, Goode, Wiig

Haunt
Aussie actress Jacki Weaver has joined the cast of the original horror flick "Haunt" at QED International. Weaver will play a former resident of the house who has suffered a terrible family tragedy.

The story centers on a family that moves into a new home with a dark past. As the introverted son and beautiful girl next door explore their sexual awakening, the two unwittingly invoke an alternative dimension of the house. [Source: Heat Vision]

After the Fall
David Duchovny, Hope Davis, and Timothy Hutton are set to star in Anthony Fabian's "After The Fall" which just began shooting in Connecticut.

The film is based on the true story of two grieving parents who used the unexpected death of their young daughter Maria as the impetus to build a world class state of the art children’s hospital where families are welcomed into the healing process. [Source: Deadline]

Destroyer
Paul Bettany and Matthew Goode are joining the Tom Shankland-directed true story tale "Destroyer". The film will be based on British Navy Captain David Hart Dyke's memoir "Four Weeks in May".

Dyke's ship is led into a tense situation during the Falklands Conflict in 1982 and is bombed by the Argentine Air Force. An incredible tale of survival soon ensues. [Source: Moviehole]

Hateship, Friendship
Kristen Wiig, Guy Pearce, Hailee Steinfeld and Nick Nolte are set to star in Liza Johnson's indie dramedy "Hateship, Friendship". Shooting begins next week in New Orleans.

The story centers on a nanny (Wiig) hired to care for a rather wild teenage girl (Steinfeld). Using email, the girl orchestrates a romance between the nanny and the father (Pearce), a recovering addict living in a different town. Nolte plays her grandfather. [Source: THR]
