NBC is delaying both the season four premiere of "Community" and season two premiere of "Whitney" from the previously scheduled October 19th debut.

The network has not indicated new return dates for the two comedies but claim they will likely announce the news dates in a few weeks as viewership for the various new shows on its schedule settle into a groove. [Source: EW]

Steel Magnolias
Lifetime's African-American cast telemovie remake of the 1989 feature delivered a record average of 6.5 million total viewers in its premiere on Sunday night.

That was No. 3 on Lifetime's all-time most-watched list, its best numbers since 2006's Fantasia Barrino telemovie. [Source: The Los Angeles Times]

Ben and Kate & The Mindy Project
Fox's new comedies "Ben and Kate" and "The Mindy Project" have received full-season orders after just two episodes of each series have aired.

Dracula
"Carnivale" creator Dan Knauf will serve as showrunner/head writer on NBC’s upcoming ten-episode period drama series “Dracula” alongside series creator Cole Haddon.
