Freeze Dried Movies reports that Christian Slater was on TV's Graham Norton recently, during which he talked a bit about a few of his new movies.
The "Mindhunters" actor said he is currently making a movie called "Licence to Steal" with Michael Madsen, and then proceeded to talk about Madsen for a while, during which he revealed they're love for the 1940 horror film "Le Corbeau" which they now want to remake together.
The 1943 original follows a mysterious writer of poison pen letters, known only as Le Corbeau (the Raven), plaguing a French provincial town, unwittingly exposing the collective suspicion and rancor seething beneath the community's calm surface.
The original "Le Corbeau" captures a spirit of paranoid pettiness and self-loathing turning an occupied French town into a twentieth-century Salem. Can these guys do it justice? Hmmmmm.
Thanks to 'Shannon'.
