Meryl Streep and Hilary Swank have been linked to the upcoming Tommy Lee Jones-directed period drama "The Homesman" at Ithaca Films, The Javelina Film Company and EuropaCorp reports The Wrap.
Jones is not only writing, producing and directing the project, he's also starring. Jones will play a pioneer who, along with a frontier woman (Swank), escort three insane women across the American prairie.
Streep's role is unspecified. The news comes from a package being present to potential buyers attending the upcoming American Film Market.
