A Most Wanted Man
Production has begun on "The American" director Anton Corbjin's adaptation of John le Carre's "A Most Wanted Man".

The start-of-shooting release confirms already announced cast members along with revealing the inclusion of "Inglourious Basterds" actor Daniel Brühl. [Source: Empire]

Homefront
Omar Miller has joined the cast of Gary Fleder's "Homefront". Jason Statham plays an ex-DEA agent who moves his family to a seemingly quiet town that turns out to be rife with violence and drugs.

Miller will portray the only real friend to Statham's character, who helps keep him and his daughter safe in the volatile surroundings. James Franco, Frank Grillo and Winona Ryder also star. [Source: Variety]

The Zero Theroem
David Thewlis has joined the cast of Terry Gilliam's "The Zero Theorem". He joins a cast that includes Christoph Waltz and Melanie Thierry.

The story follows a reclusive computer genius plagued with existential angst works on a mysterious project aimed at discovering the purpose of existence. [Source: The Playlist]

Family Tree
Fred Willard, Michael McKean and Ed Begley Jr. have signed on for Christopher Guest's mockumentary series "Family Tree" on HBO. McKean will play the lead character's father, Begley his uncle and Willard a neighbor.

Chris O'Dowd stars as a newly unemployed and single man who begins exploring his family heritage after inheriting a mysterious box from a great aunt he never met. [Source: The Live Feed]
