"Hot Fuzz" actor Paddy Considine will re-team with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost for Edgar Wright's "The World's End" for Focus Features and Universal says Variety.
The story follows five childhood friends who reunite for a drinking marathon that culminates in the fabled pub of the title. As they attempt to reconcile past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future of all humankind.
Considine will play a former ladies man and musician who has grown up to be a divorced architect. Wright directs from a script he co-wrote with Pegg.
Nira Park, Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan are producing and shooting kicks off in October in the United Kingdom.
