Casting: Cuoco, Banks, Driver, Shepard

Kaley Cuoco, Dylan Walsh, Chris Klein, Dennis Farina, Teri Polo, Tricia Helfer, Jonathan Bennett and Jonathan Banks are all set to star in Ellie Kanner-Zuckerman's indie comedy "Scribble".

LEGO
Elizabeth Banks and Morgan Freeman will lend their voices to lead roles in Phil Lord and Christopher Miller's animated 3D "LEGO" movie at Warner Bros. Pictures. Freeman will voice a character called Vitruvius.

The pair join Chris Pratt and Will Arnett in the film about an ordinary Lego mini-figure, mistakenly thought to be the extraordinary MasterBuilder, is recruited to join a quest to stop an evil Lego tyrant from gluing the universe together. [Source: Deadline]

Stage Fright
Minnie Driver will star alongside Meat Loaf Aday in Jerome Sable's horror-musical "Stage Fright" at Serendipity Point Films. Shooting kicks off September 6th in Ontario, Canada.

The story is set in a snobbish musical-theater camp terrorized by a bloodthirsty masked killer who despises musical theater. Driver is set to play a haunted Broadway star who is the mother of siblings (Allie MacDonald and Douglas Smith). [Source: Variety]

August: Osage County
Sam Shepard is in negotiations to play family alcoholic patriarch Beverly Weston in the adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play "August: Osage County" at The Weinstein Company.

His character's disappearance is the catalyst that sets off the story about a dysfunctional Midwest family who come together to confront unspoken truths and long-held secrets. [Source: Variety]
