Warners Falls For Some Angels

By Garth Franklin Thursday June 16th 2005 03:38PM

Genevieve Jolliffe and Andrew Zinnes have set up the spec "Absolute Angels" at Warner Bros. Pictures, with Jolliffe attached to direct says The Hollywood Reporter.

"Angels," described as a female take on 1987's "The Lost Boys," centers on a lonely goth girl who gets invited to join the high school cheerleading team only to learn the cheerleaders are actually a pack of vampires.

Mosaic Media's Charles Roven and Alex Gartner are producing. Karen Walton will do a quick rewrite on the project. Jolliffe, who comes from London, wrote and directed "Urban Ghost Story".

Thanks to 'Rare'.
