Ciaran Hinds Joins "Game of Thrones"

He played Julius Caesar in "Rome", now Ciaran Hinds is returning to HBO to play a different kind of ruler - the 'King-Beyond-the-Wall' reports EW.

Hinds has joined the cast of the currently in production third season of the much acclaimed "Game of Thrones" in the high profile role of former Night's Watchman turned wildling leader Mance Rayder.

Referenced many times throughout the first two seasons, Rayder is uniting the savage tribes in the Far North into a massive army with plans to attack The Wall.

Shooting is currently underway in Ireland, Croatia, Iceland and Morocco.
