AMC's western returned last night to only modest ratings with 2.5 million viewers tuning in. With competition from the Olympics closing ceremony and no "Walking Dead" lead-in, that number was a far cry from the 4.3 million who tuned in for the pilot and down from the first season finale's 2.9 million audience. Matt Smith has confirmed that he's set to remain on "Doctor Who" through an eighth season which would keep him on the show until at least 2014. The currently in production seventh season of the show goes to air in coming weeks.
Showrunner Steven Moffat reportedly convinced Smith to stay for another year after pitching him ideas for an eighth season which would be Smith's fourth year in the role. [Source: The Sun]
Jodie Foster will direct and executive produce the Sopranos-esque drama series "Angie's Body" for Showtime. The story centers on a "shrewd and lethal woman who runs a family-based crime syndicate".

The Good Wife
Kristin Chenoweth's recurring role on "The Good Wife" has been put on hold because of a head injury the actress sustained while filming the CBS legal drama. Chenoweth's recovery has been slow and are preventing her from returning.
Chenoweth only completed one episode of her four-episode arc but rather than recast other characters are taking over her storyline in the already written episodes. Chenoweth's arc will remain open for the actress to continue when she fully recovers. [Source: Deadline]
