Split Decision
Brendan Fraser will star in Damian Lee’s action-thriller "Split Decision" for Rollercoaster Entertainment and Vortex Words + Pictures. Shooting kicks off shortly on location in Ontario.

The story follows two children (Holly Deveaux, Christian Martin) who witness a murder while on a wilderness camping trip with a family friend (Daniel Kash). When two criminal brothers (Dominic Purcell and Ethan Suplee) start to hunt down the children to silence them, Fraser’s father-figure sets out to rescue them. [Source: THR]

Dark Skies
Josh Hamilton will star opposite Keri Russell in the thriller "Dark Skies" at Blumhouse Productions and Alliance Films.

The story involves an alien disguised as a human and a boy tagged for abduction. Shooting kicks off this week. [Source: Variety]

Parental Guidance Suggested
Selena Gomez is set to headline Tim Garrick's indie offbeat coming-of-age comedy "Parental Guidance Suggested". Nat Wolff, Austin Stowell, Dylan McDermott and Cary Elwes also star.

Based on Ric Browde's 2000 novel "While I'm Dead ... Feed the Dog", the story centers on 16-year-old Ric Thibault (Wolff) and his crush Nina Pennington (Gomez) as they embark on a rock 'n' roll-themed odyssey. Shooting will take place in Los Angeles. [Source: THR]

Blue Potato
Callan McAuliffe and Sara Jude Sutherland have been cast as the lead in Aron Gaudet's coming of age indie "Blue Potato."

The story follows two teenage boys in Maine and their last summer working the potato harvest. Shooting kicks off next week. [Source: Variety]
