Casting: Wahlberg, Bakkedahl, O'Neal, Eklund

Neuromancer
Mark Wahlberg and Liam Neeson are said to be considering offers to star in Vicenzo Natali’s long-gestating adaptation of William Gibson's cyberpunk classic “Neuromancer”.

Wahlberg would play the anti-hero Case, while Neeson would star as the twisted Armitage. [Source: Moviehole]

The Heat
"The Daily Show" correspondent Dan Bakkedahl has signed on to co-star in the Sandra Bullock-Melissa McCarthy female buddy cop comedy "The Heat" at 20th Century Fox. The project is currently shooting in Boston.

Bakkedahl will play a DEA agent who finds himself at odds with Bullock and McCarthy's characters. Taran Killam, Michael Rapaport and Kaitlin Olson also star. [Source: THR]

Knight of Cups
Ryan O'Neal has joined the ever growing cast of Terrence Malick's currently filming "Knight of Cups", the actor confirming the news himself in a recent tweet.

Antonio Banderas and Joe Manganiello are also rumoured to be shooting scenes for the movie but their involvement hasn't been confirmed as yet. [Source: The Playlist]

The Hive
Michael Eklund is set to co-star with Halle Berry in Brad Anderson's currently shooting thriller "The Hive."

The story revovles around an emergency operator (Berry) who, in order to save the life of a girl (Abigail Breslin), must confront a killer (Eklund) from her past. [Source: Variety]
