Shooting on the Netflix-exclusive ten-episode new season of "Arrested Development" gets underway in two weeks and Jason Bateman has posted the first photos of Michael Cera on the still under construction sets. [Source: Twitter]

TCA's
HBO’s "Game Of Thrones" was named Program Of The Year at the TV Critics Association's Awards on the weekend, succeeding last year's winner "Friday Night Lights". "Homeland" was named Best New Show, the award that 'Thrones' won last year.

"Breaking Bad" scored the best drama series award, "Louie" won the best comedy, and "Downton Abbey" won best movie/mini-series. Claire Danes and Louis CK scored individual achievement nods. [Source: Deadline]

Louie
FX has renewed its award-winning comedy "Louie" for a 13-episode fourth season. The show has been a critical darling for the network.

The current third season ends with an hourlong episode on September 27th. [Source: Variety]

Beware the Batman
Warner Bros. Animation is toning down the violence in its new animated TV series "Beware the Batman" which is scheduled to debut next year.

The reportedly expensive alterations are reportedly set to adjust the visual representation of weaponry from being too realistic, such as changing the gun barrels from round to square. [Source: Worst Previews]
