German company Raspberry & Cream have picked up the Filipino low-brow comedy/horror feature "Remington And The Curse of the Zombadings" says The Hollywood Reporter.
The Jade Castro-directed zombie film follows a homophobic macho young man named Remington (Martin Escudero) who, as a child, insulted a drag queen in a graveyard. As a result he falls under a spell that slowly but surely turns him gay and pushing him into a love triangle with his best friend and the girl-next-door.
Meanwhile his cop mother is investigating why gay men across town are turning up dead. The project is one of the most successful indie features ever in the Philippines where it was released last year.
