Starz Plans "Incursion," "Dracula" Series

The Starz network is re-teaming with "Spartacus" producer Steven S. DeKnight for the sci-fi action thriller series "Incursion" says The Live Feed.

The story revolves around a group of soldiers caught in a war against a hostile alien race. Each season of the potential series will be fought on a new, exotic planet as humanity inches deeper into enemy territory.

Starz is also developing "Vlad Dracula" which blends historical facts of the 15th century Vlad the Impaler with Bram Stoker's creation. "Babylon 5" creator J. Michael Straczynski will produce the series which follow's the character's downfall from revered ruler to the world's most feared vampire. Rob Tapert and Roy Lee will also produce.

Starz is also showcasing "Spartacus Legends" at Comic Con this week. Ubisoft is promoting the console game which will be released digitally through Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network early next year in tandem with the show's third season.

The show's stars Liam McIntyre and Manu Bennett worked with the game designers and so their likenesses and voices are featured.
