Chicago Extras Required To Break-Up

By Garth Franklin Friday June 10th 2005 04:42PM

Global Adrenaline & Universal Pictures are trying identify and cast authentic Chicago clubbers for the upcoming film staring Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston. These are paid extra positions - 400 clubbers to be precise.

The film itself, "The Break-Up," is an unconventional love story that begins where most romantic comedies end: after boy and girl have met, fallen for each other and moved into their newly purchased condo to start their happily-ever-after. But after two years, the initial bliss of living together has long faded and the couples personality quirks and lifestyles are driving each other crazy.

Pushed to her breaking point after the couples latest "why can't you do this one little thing for me?" argument, art dealer Brooke (Aniston) finally calls it quits with her boyfriend, Gary (Vaughn), owner and on board operator of 3-Brothers Bus Tours of Chicago. Peyton Reed is directing.

Those interested and who think they've got the moves to prove it, swing by Sound-Bar this Saturday June 11th and find one of the roaming talent scouts. They will have the booking cards on hand and the registration information. This casting is happening at the end of June at an undisclosed downtown nightclub.
