White House Down
James Woods is in talks to play the head of the Secret Service in Roland Emmerich's "White House Down" at Sony Pictures. Shooting on it begins in August.

Channing Tatum plays a Secret Service agent who must save the U.S. President (Jamie Foxx) when a paramilitary group takes over the White House and holds everyone inside hostage. [Source: Variety]

Should've Been Romeo
Ed Asner will star opposite Paul Ben-Victor and Carol Kane in Marc Bennett's indie "Should've Been Romeo" for Phillybrook Films.

The story follows a middle-aged potato chip company pitchman who loses his job just as his grandfather is dropped on his doorstep by his mother on her way to a singles cruise. [Source: Variety]
