Move over Pamela, Justin Timberlake in tiny wet red shorts just might be the new draw.
Twitch reports the most amusing film rumour of the month - that Timberlake is being pursued to play the lead role in the long-gestating film version of the hit 90's TV series "Baywatch" at Paramount Pictures.
The film would have JT as a disgraced former Olympic swimmer trying out for the Baywatch crew. Should they want them, roles are in there for David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson as well.
As of late last year "Rescue Me" co-creator Peter Tolan had reportedly finished the script which is akin to the recent "21 Jump Street" in that it's not a parody but it is a comedy, and it's only loosely based on the show even though there are some key winks to the series.
Ivan Reitman, Beau Flynn and Tripp Vinson are producing the project.
