Getting Creamy With Sex Star Sarah

By Garth Franklin Tuesday June 7th 2005 04:06PM

Sarah Jessica Parker will topline a film adaptation of Rebecca Gilman's play "Spinning into Butter" reports Production Weekly. Filming will start in New York this September.

Set on a college campus in Vermont, the story explores the dangers of both racism and political correctness in America today in a manner that is at once profound, disturbing, darkly comic and deeply cathartic. Parker will play Sarah Daniels, a liberal college dean who investigates the pinning of anonymous, clearly racist letters on the door of one of the college's few African American students.

The stunning discovery that there is a virulent racist on campus forces Sarah, along with other faculty members and students, to explore her feelings about racism leading to surprising discoveries (including a twist relating to the film's title).

Thanks to 'Caleb'.
