Despite reports both Armie Hammer ("Mirror Mirror") and Garrett Hedlund ("Tron: Legacy") are in the running to play Finnick Odair, producer Nina Jacobson says all the reports are very premature.
"That's the thing that's crazy -- people are like way ahead of where we are. We've not narrowed things down by any means. It's funny to see how things can take on a life of their own" said Jacobson on the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday. [Source: 24 Frames]
Mariana Klaveno ("True Blood," "Dexter") has been cast as Lily Munster in NBC's Munsters reboot "Mockingbird Lane". Her involvement however is contingent on her being released from a pilot she had a regular role on - ABC's "Devious Maids" which could be moving to Lifetime.
ABC Studios has so far refused to release the actress, but NBC is willing to let Klaveno recur on "Devious Maids" in exchange for securing her as female lead on "Mockingbird Lane". [Source: Deadline]
