"Twilight," "Hunger," Win MTV Movie Awards

Though the behind-the-scenes voting methods have changed, Sunday's 2012 MTV Movie Awards remained very much targeted at the tweens, even if the perennial winner of past years found itself facing competition.

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" took home the top prize for Movie Of The Year and also nabbed Best Kiss, however it was "The Hunger Games" which dominated the other categories including Best Female Performance (Jennifer Lawrence), Best Male Performance (Josh Hutcherson), Best On-Screen Transformation (Elizabeth Banks) and Best Fight.

"Harry Potter - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2" won for Best Hero and Best Cast, while Melissa McCarthy took home Best Comedic Performance for "Bridesmaids" which also nabbed Best Gut-Wrenching Performance for the dress fitting sequence.

Finally, Shailene Woodley won Best Breakthrough Performance for her turn in "The Descendants", while LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" for "21 Jump Street" took Best Music.
