Disney Pictures is set to co-produce the upcoming third "Iron Man" film with Chinese partner DMG Entertainment according to The Associated Press.
DMG will jointly produce the movie in China but gave no indication what parts might be filmed in that country. A rep did confirm that "Chinese elements and a Chinese story" are being added into the production.
The move isn't unusual. DMG had a similar arrangement with the upcoming sci-fi thriller "Looper" which resulted in scenes filmed in Shanghai.
Shooting is slated to kick off in five weeks on the film in North Carolina which once again stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle.
