From Wolf To Knight For Padalecki

By Garth Franklin Friday May 27th 2005 03:35AM

He's a hunky actor whose only 22, his last job was as Elisha Cuthbert's on-screen boyfriend, and he's 6'3" - yes he's big (in every department apparently). Damn, some people have all the friggin luck. Jared Padalecki rose to fame on "Gilmore Girls" and is quickly rising as a young teen star with recent flicks like "Cheaper by the Dozen", "New York Minute" and "Flight of the Phoenix". Now he's been to London recently to attend the premiere of "House of Wax"last night and Empire Online caught up with him to talk about what's next:

You're busy? I am, I've got Cry Wolf coming up September 23rd, and then I start my TV show July 12th. So I'm gonna keep busy. I've got a month off, asnd then on to the hard work. But it's not, you know... on to the hard work for an actor; it's not doing manual labor or anything.

Cry Wolf? It's loosely based on the boy who cried wolf, and that whole story, andthere's also an internet game, called Cry Wolf, on AOL, and it sort of tells you what the movie is about, but it's sort of a thriller with a message, basically. It's about a group of kids who are too rich, and too smart, and too bored, and too curious for their own good, and their arrogance and immaturity gets them all in a lot of trouble.

You've gone from this, an R rated movie to Knights Of Impossingworth coming up? Oh, Knights Of Impossingworth Park. You know what, I was gonna do that, and I met with the director and Sir Ben Kingsley, which was kind of cool, but the dates don't work out because my television show is going in July, and they wouldn't need me until August. So I can't do it - but I'll be around for the sequel, so, they'll film me in that, or something.

Thanks to 'Sam'.
