Steven Spielberg's prehistoric series "Terra Nova" is once again extinct.
After the FOX network opted not to pick up the sci-fi series for a second season, the show's producer 20th Century Fox Television attempted to shop around the project. Shortly after came word that talks had begun between them and disc rental/streaming provider Netflix about continuing the series.
Even early last week, TV Line spoke 20th Fox Television co-chairman Dana Walden who said "We were discussing one additional option, but Netflix is the one that we're having the most active conversations with right now".
Now, Deadline reports that the two companies have been unable to come to a deal after two weeks of negotiations.
20th TV is not releasing the actors, but there's no other viable suitor at this time - in fact three actors from the show have already booked other dramas.
