"Nicole Kidman is in talks with Lars Von Trier to appear in "Wasington," the final part of the Danish auteur's controversial American trilogy. Kidman starred as gangster daughter Grace in the first movie, "Dogville," but was unavailable for the second installment, "Manderlay." Bryce Dallas Howard took the role of Grace in "Manderlay," which had its world premiere at Cannes last week. Kidman recently said she and Howard will "share the role" in the third movie. "Justin Bartha ("National Treasure", "Gigli") has signed on to star in "Failure to Launch" for Scott Rudin Prods. and Paramount Pictures. He joins Matthew McConaughey, Sarah Jessica Parker and Zooey Deschanel in the comedy about a thirtysomething guy (McConaughey) that can't seem to leave home. Bartha will play a friend of McConaughey's who ends up getting together with Deschanel, a friend of Parker's. Tom Dey is directing from a script by Tom J. Astle and Matt Ember..." (full details)

"Ezra Buzzington (Ghost World, Art School Confidential) has signed to play the role of Goggle in director Alexandre Aja's remake of Wes Craven horror cult classic "The Hills Have Eyes". Fox Searchlight Pictures recently picked up the film. The film tells the tale of a vacationing family that takes a wrong turn, accidentally going through an air-testing range. When they get stranded in the desert, they become the targets of a cannibalistic, feral group of humans. Goggle is the watchdog of the Hill People..." (full details)
