Jake Gyllenhaal is in negotiations to star in Albert Hughes' revenge thriller "Motor City" for Dark Castle and Warner Bros. Pictures reports Heat Vision.
The story follows a small-time hood (Gyllenhaal) framed and sent to prison by a drug trafficker, only to relentlessly exact revenge years later to get back the woman he loves.
Gary Oldman and Amber Heard have already been cast. Gyllenhaal would replace the previously cast Dominic Cooper who had to depart due to a scheduling conflict with "Cities".
Chad St. John penned the script while Joel Silver and Andrew Rona are producing. Shooting kicks off in May in Berlin.
