Adam Shankman is in early negotiations to direct and produce the family drama "This Is Where I Leave You" at Warner Bros. Pictures says Variety.
Based on Jonthan Tropper's novel, the story centers on a father who dies and requests that his highly dysfunctional and non-religious family sit Shivah for seven days.
Shankman would replace Greg Berlanti who was originally attached to direct. Jennifer Gibgot, Paula Weinstein and Jeff Levine are also producing.
