They were linked a month ago and now it's confirmed - Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to star alongside Sylvester Stallone in the action-thriller "The Tomb" for Emmett-Furla Films and Summit Entertainment.
Miles Chapman and Jason Keller penned the script which follows Ray Breslin (Stallone), the world's foremost authority on prison structural security. His skills are put to the test when he is framed and put in a high-security prison of his own design and must find the person who put him there.
Schwarzenegger plays Church, plays a complex inmate who fights to keep the prisoners from losing their humanity in their darkest hour as they struggle together to stay alive. Mikael Hafström ("1408," "The Rite") is directing.
Mark Canton, Randall Emmet, George Furla, Robbie Brenner and Kevin King-Templeton will all produce. Shooting kicks off in Louisiana this spring.
