"Filming will begin this summer on a live-action feature adaptation of the classic kids story How to Eat Fried Worms. Bob Dolman (The Banger Sisters) will direct the comedy based on Thomas Rockwell's 1972 book. Dolman adapted the book about Billy, a 10-year-old boy whose family moves to Duncanville, the earthworm capital of the U.S. Billy is so desperate to fit in at his new school that he accepts a bet that he can't eat 15 worms in 15 days. "Lexi Alexander ("Hooligans") will direct "Life 'n' Lyrics," the debut project from Fiesta Prods. Pic, which will star Ashley Walters ("Bullet Boy"), will begin shooting in June. "Life 'n' Lyrics," described as "8 Mile" meets "Romeo and Juliet," is a love story set against the backdrop of London's urban music scene. Pic follows South London DJ Danny and his crew as they battle onstage against their North London rivals.
