Former "The OC" star Adam Brody is set to become a part of two new high-profile indies - "Some Girls" and "Welcome to the Jungle" reports Variety.
'Girls', based on the play by Neil LaBute, follows a successful writer who, before getting married, decides to travel across the country to meet his five ex-girlfriends in a series of hotel rooms.
Jennifer Getzinger ("Mad Men") directs from a script LaBute adapted. LaBute is also producing and shooting kicks off in Los Angeles in April.
Brody is also set to star in Rob Meltzer's "Welcome to the Jungle," which follows a group of design firm workers at an office retreat on a tropical island suddenly overtaken by a dangerous group.
Left stranded, Brody is forced to match wits with the power-hungry leader in order to rescue his co-workers.
Rob Huebel, Dennis Haysbert, Kristen Schaal and Jean-Claude Van Damme co-star and shooting kicks off next month in Puerto Rico.
