Displaced: Lancashire based Skylandian Pictures are celebrating this week after gaining the support of 'Lord of the Rings' star Ian McKellen for their sci-fi action adventure feature 'Displaced'. Ian provided a voice-over recording at Granada Studios which will create a dramatic opener to the film.

Spider-Man 3: Now Playing Magazine got the chance to chat with Sam Raimi recently and spoke about the third "Spider-Man" flick's visual effects which will be a practical and CG mix: "Absolutely, the new villain, the new powers [will be a mix]. We're shooting tests right now to determine what is best pulled off believably as a practical effect and what can't be, what's too dangerous, what is too unreasonable, and what looks better in CG" says Raimi.
Star Wars: Episode III: A DVD for "Revenge of the Sith" will feature six scenes that were deleted from the final movie. And a DVD set of all six films will eventually be packaged and sold, but when that may happen is still undecided.
