Rosario Dawson is set to play the lead in the low-budget feature "Decent", written by Brian Priest and Talia Lugacy, who will also direct reports Production Weekly.
Dawson will play Maya, a college coed with all the promise of a smart, beautiful and focused young woman. She is tempted to crawl out of her shell a little by her friends and lured out by an enticing boy. A frightful event throws this once bright-eyed beauty spinning out of control and spiraling down paths she never could have dreamed. Clawing to regain herself and her sense of normalcy, she turns to revenge for closure.
The in-demand actress was most recently seen in "Sin City" & "Alexander". She is currently filming the movie adaptation of famed musical "Rent".
