It seems as if every young male in Hollywood is testing for the feature film adaptation of 'Twilight' author Stephenie Meyer's sci-fi novel "The Host" at Open Road Films according to Variety.

Saoirse Ronan ("Atonement," "Hanna") is already attached to star as Melanie Stryder, a young woman whose body is invaded by an alien named Wanderer (also played by Ronan).

Now the two male lead roles need to be filled with producers conducting screen tests in coming days.

Aussies Liam Hemsworth ("The Hunger Games") and Jai Courtney ("Spartacus: Blood and Sand"), along with British boys Kit Harington ("Game of Thrones") and Max Irons ("Red Riding Hood") will test for the role of Jared, Melanie's boyfriend.

Dane DeHaan ("In Treatment"), Thomas McDonnell ("Prom"), Augustus Prew ("The Borgias") and Jake Abel ("Percy Jackson") will test for the role of Ian, who brutalizes Wanderer before falling in love with her.

Steve Schwartz, Paula Mae Schwartz, Nick Wechsler and Meyer are producing. Shooting kicks off early next year in Louisiana and New Mexico.
