Infuze Magazine went to the Biola Media Conference over the weekend, where many interesting "Narnia" related scoops were revealed, some you may have heard, some you probably haven't:
Brian Cox is off the Narnia movie as the voice of Aslan, with Jason Isaacs, Sean Bean, Timothy Dalton, Gerard Butler, Ralph Fiennes, and Ian McKellan all in consideration as a replacement. Disney's long-term plans are to film at least the first four books in Lewis' Narnia series, should the first film do well at the box office.
Producer Ralph Winter (X-Men, Fantastic Four) is in talks with the C.S. Lewis estate about bringing The Screwtape Letters to the big screen. Ralph first let us know about his interest in this in an interview a year ago, and at Biola Media Conference he revealed the film is indeed still in the works, but he's waiting to see what the public's reaction is to "The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe."
