Sony Pictures Animation has scored the film rights to Chris Grine's graphic novel series "Chickenhare" at Dark Horse Entertainment and is planning an animated feature based on it says Variety.
The story of the comic revolves around a half-chicken, half-rabbit that goes on adventures with his shelled sidekick, Abe, facing monstrous creatures and demonic critters.
The studio has yet to hire a writer or director.
