Ocean's 12 recasting & scheduling

With a sequel involving so many stars, all sorts of problems are bound to crop up beforehand which threaten the chances of the project coming together. Thankfully the difficulties afflicting the "Ocean's 11" sequel seem to be minor for the moment.

Filmjerk reports that one of the original 'eleven' is set to be recast, albeit the one whose name was probably least known. Shaobo Qin, the Chinese acrobat who played the role of 'Yen' in the original has to be recast and already agencies have been contacted for people to fill the role.

Shooting has been confirmed to start in April, a month after originally planned. The reasoning was due to Brad Pitt who sustained an injury on "Troy" and so needs time to recuperate - in between "Troy" and "Twelve" he's starring in a non-strenuous role in "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" which according to a Fox publicist is "starting shooting in Los Angeles soon...[the film] may come to New York City in late February or early March to shoot some scenes".

Still no word on the plot other than continued talk that it will involve around three separate yet concurrent heists in Europe - Paris, Rome and Amsterdam to be precise where the production will shoot.

      Thanks to 'Chris'
