So much for more "American Idol" it would seem as Jennifer Lopez is in talks to star in two upcoming feature films says Deadline.
The first is the female lead opposite Jason Statham in Taylor Hackford's action film "Parker" for FilmDistrict. An adaptation of the Donald Westlake mystery novel series, Statham plays a thief who follows a strict moral code who's willing to kill if crossed.
Lopez plays Leslie, a woman who gets involved with Parker as he executes a heist. The hope is to launch a potential franchise and shooting kicks off in August.
Lopez is also circling Kirk Jones' "What To Expect When You're Expecting" at Lionsgate. Vulture adds that Isla Fisher and Ed Helms might be up for roles, though "Glee" star Matthew Morrison may not be involved as first thought due to his busy schedule.
Cameron Diaz stars in the story based on a bestselling how-to guide to preparing for childbirth. Lopez is in discussions for the supporting role of Holly.
