'Trev' talks about a certain "Lost" star's somewhat confusing future and a potential remake with a comedian taking on a gruff comic sailor.
"Heard from a fellow scribe that Ian Somerhalder dropped out of "The Breed" a day before he was due to fly out to South Africa for the shoot. He got a call for "Pulse", replacing another actor (one rumor is Chris Klein). None were too happy, but he worked it out. Interesting. I hear "Smallville" also wants him back to reprise a character he played earlier on, I don't watch it, so no idea whom that is, and ABC wants him for various episodes of next season's "Lost".
Also, friend of mine heard some stuff this week about a film with David Spade called "Bench Warmers". Long story short, they tell me Adam Sandler's production company is trying to do something with "Popeye". (Adam wrote and produced Bench Warmers) New live-action thingie for Sandler to star in. It's being talked about (obviously) but don't know how much of a 'plan' it is. Just a pity the grand Chris Farley won't be alive to be Fat Pluto!!"
Thanks again to 'Trev'.
