The Hollywood News reports that recent photos of Hugh Grant rushing through Heathrow Airport this week, hiding behind a copy of 'I Lucifer' may have more to it than they seem.
A film of that bestseller is in the works with Pat O'Connor (Sweet November, Circle of Friends) attached to direct, and David Logan (Circus) having just accomplished the adaptation into script. Grant may be considering the lead role of the devil himself, and/ or producing it.
The basic story of the book revolves around Lucifer, the Devil, who is given one last shot at redemption from God. He has one month on Earth, in the human form to prove himself, only he has no intention of taking the man upstairs up on his offer, and intends to put a body through as much drug, sex and other multiple vice excess as possible in that month.
