'Frequent Flyer' claims to have met the lovely Christian Bale at Heathrow last week and dropped in this: "He's still quite bulky from the Batman part! Anyway, I said Hi, got an autograph, wished him luck with Batman (asked me if I was going to see it - like, duh) and I said I hoped he's back for Batman again. "Two more actually, and then Brandon Routh, the new Superman, and I, are doing Batman vs. Superman as a movie". Is that a scoop?". You bet it is honey.
Meanwhile, Animated-News reports that Warner Brothers is said to be currently casting for the big-screen adaptation of "The Jetsons," with rumor that the studio is waiting for Steve Martin to come on board and play the role of George Jetson. As with previous Hanna-Barbera features, the film will bring CGI into the mix. A late 2006 release looks to be planned.
Finally, Bloody Disgusting recently heard a rumour regarding Fox Searchlight's recent acquisition of "The Hills Have Eyes" remake. According to their source: "Mark Harmon COULD be in talks to star in The Hills Have Eyes remake. I met the latter at a an opening in NYC last weekend and he said he's 'keeping busy...looking at a remake of an old Wes Craven film'. I don't think it's a done deal or anything, but the movie's starting to sound interesting - if the guess is correct."
