Xavier Gens Keen On A "Daredevil" Reboot

"Hitman" director Xavier Gens says he would be keen on the chance to helm a reboot of "Daredevil" for 20th Century Fox.

"If I make a 'Daredevil' movie, I would go in a completely different direction. My vision of the character is much more a drama. For me it's important to include the origin of the character like in Richard Donner's 'Superman.' We saw him slowly become a superhero, but I think it's important to take time and stay realistic. It's also very important to let the director make his own vision of the character, not make a studio movie. 'The Dark Knight' is totally the vision of Nolan" the filmmaker told Marvel Movies.

Whom would he get to play Matt Murdock? "For Daredevil I think Sam Worthington could be great and intense for this character. The villain depends on the story."
